Good Student Discount Certificates
How is Good Student Discount information determined and reported to the Clearinghouse?
Good Student Discount certificates are often used by eligible students, who meet certain academic criteria, to obtain discounts and services. Good Student Discount certificates are only available to students at schools participating in Student Self-Service.
Good Student Discount criteria is determined by your school. Some schools make the determination based on grade point average, others use class ranking. The only thing that you need to submit to the Clearinghouse for Good Student Discount is an indicator (Y or N) in the appropriate field on your enrollment report.
Be aware that the procedures for Good Student Discount reporting can vary depending on your student information system (Banner, Jenzabar, PeopleSoft, etc.). Whatever method you use, we suggest you keep it consistent.
